I've spent like three days trying to fiddle with the coding so I could post the widget here, since lj doesn't allow iFrames, but I can't get it to work. So instead of being fancy with it, you're just going to have to click a link. Go here to ask me anonymous questions: http://www.formspring.me/heatherface

Yesterday, I turned eighteen. It wasn't a huge, life changing event, but it was a good day. I went to TGI Fridays in Covent Garden, with my mum, dad and Doug. The ONLY time all day I got ID'd was when I was buying a lime and soda...which doesn't even have alcohol in it. For every alcoholic drink I ordered? Nothing. It was somewhat anticlimatic, but means I need to buy more alcohol just so I can show that yes, indeed, I am eighteen now.

My dad bought me a beautiful necklace, made of Welsh gold, which I am wearing in the photos below. It is simply stunning and I absolutely did not expect it from him. I also managed to acquire enough money for a laptop for University, which is brilliant.

And now it's Christmas on Friday!

Forgot to blog about last night. I watched IT with my parents, and kept having to explain stuff to them. Mom was knitting so she just kept missing little plot points, but dad joined us halfway through.

Dad: "So what's with the clown?"
Me: "It's a physical manifestation of their fear."
Dad: "What?"
Me: "*sigh* Clowns are creepy as shit."
Dad: "Ah."

I bought the book and tried reading it, but couldn't get into it and it starts off with a gay guy literally getting beaten to death so I can't even read past that. Stephen King is seriously fucked up, and a horrible author, but his books make great movies. The only exception I've found is The Shining, the book is actually quite amazing!
